‘Upcycler’ teaching others how to give old clothes new life

And through the Youthful Leaders of the Americas Initiative, a fashion designer from Chile is here in Kansas City, exhibiting people how to do just that via the art of upcycling.

“I really like using matters that have been discarded and turning them into a little something excellent,” Janice Mead claimed.
That’s the objective of this upcycling workshop at the Sewing Labs of Kansas Town.

Fran Gajardo, an global upcycler, is instructing the course.
