Meet Lubna Najjar, the Designer Behind HER Denim and Lubna

Lubna Najjar serves as a leader for the Columbus Style Council, the Council of Vogue Designers of America Connects management committee and the Central Ohio Far better Enterprise Bureau. In addition, she not too long ago co-authored The Electricity of Branding in Trend: 2000 and Past, a textbook used in courses at OSU. But these are just her side gigs. Najjar’s major target is IL Moda Brand Growth, which she launched in 2012.

IL Moda gives a slew of alternatives to just take budding brand names from concept to market. Najjar refers to IL Moda as “full service,” this means it can help with all the things from massive-photograph ideation to the nitty-gritty of source chain management, using the services of designers and managing e-commerce storefronts.

The branding chops that have led Najjar to maintain so lots of leadership positions stem from her own initiatives in the trend business. She launched Lubna Types as a passion project in 2011, creating outfits for her action-daughters and buddies even though she worked on her MBA at Franklin College. Shortly, her models ended up on runways in New York and she was receiving retail orders. She marketed a spinoff label, LD Activity, in 2016.
